The website of Helvezia Pharma & Medical Care AG is subject to Swiss data protection law, in particular in accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act (FADP), as well as any applicable foreign data protection law, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union (EU). The EU recognises that Swiss data protection law ensures adequate data protection.

Access to our website is via transport encryption (SSL / TLS).

Access to our website is subject – like any use of the internet – to general, indiscriminate and suspicionless mass surveillance by security authorities in Switzerland, the EU, the USA and other countries. We have no direct influence on the corresponding processing of personal data by secret services, police agencies and other security authorities.

 

Third Party Services

We host our website in the Federal Republic of Germany. For each access to this website, standard web server log files are created with the following information: IP address, date and time including time zone, browser request including origin of the request (referrer), operating system used including user interface and version, browser used including language and version, amount of data transferred. The log files are used to detect technical problems as well as to ensure security and for statistical evaluation of the use of our website.

We use Google Invisible reCAPTCHA for protection against bots and spam. This service of the American Google LLC uses cookies, among other things, and data is transferred to Google in the USA, although we assume that no personal tracking takes place in this context solely through the use of our website. Google has undertaken to ensure adequate data protection in accordance with the American-European and Privacy Shield. Further information can be found in Google’s privacy policy.

Fonts are integrated via Google and Typekit.

Processing of Personal Data

Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable person. A data subject is a person about whom personal data is processed. Processing includes any handling of personal data, regardless of the means and procedures used, in particular the storage, disclosure, acquisition, deletion, storage, modification, destruction and use of personal data.

We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law. Furthermore, we process personal data in accordance with at least one of the following legal bases – insofar as and to the extent that the GDPR is applicable:

Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR for the necessary processing of personal data to protect the legitimate interests of us or of third parties, unless the fundamental freedoms and rights and interests of the data subject override these. Legitimate interests are in particular our business interest in being able to provide our website, information security, the enforcement of our own legal claims and compliance with Swiss law.

Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO for the necessary processing of personal data for the performance of a contract with the data subject as well as for the implementation of corresponding pre-contractual measures.

Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR for the necessary processing of personal data to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject under any applicable law of the EU or under any applicable law of a country in which the GDPR applies in whole or in part.

Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO for the processing of personal data with the consent of the data subject.

Art. 6 para. 1 lit. d DSGVO for the necessary processing of personal data to protect vital interests of the data subject or another natural person.

We process personal data for the period of time required for the respective purpose. In the event of longer retention periods due to legal and other obligations to which we are subject, we adapt the processing accordingly.

Comments and Forms

Contact forms can be filled out on our website. We also use cookies for this purpose. We store the information that visitors to our website record themselves. We may also store the IP address, time and date in order to combat abuse, in particular identity theft and spam.

Rights of Data Subjects

Visitors to our website and other persons about whom we process personal data may request confirmation free of charge as to whether personal data is being processed by us and, if so, information about our processing of their personal data, have the processing of their personal data restricted, exercise their right to data portability – if and insofar as the GDPR applies -, have their personal data corrected, deleted („right to be forgotten“) or blocked, revoke consent given and object to the processing of their personal data.

Persons about whom we process personal data have a right of appeal to a competent supervisory authority for data protection. The supervisory authority for data protection in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
